Training

About Our Training Programmes

Over the past 8 years, Straits Knowledge has been teaching KM frameworks, techniques and methodologies but typically in the context of in-house consulting engagements.

From 2008 onwards, we have made these workshops publicly available along with training and reference materials, as we see the increasing need for KM practitioners to be able to exercise these methodologies themselves - or even cascade them to colleagues - within their own organisation.

Our workshops are highly practical, the content refined through years of actual implementation experience. We run workshops in the following areas:

* Knowledge Sharing Techniques covering techniques to support knowledge capture and transfer in projects, in communities and peer collaboration, and in expertise transfer - review detailed brochure.

Expertise Transfer - 25-26 March & 14 April 2010
Project Learning & Knowledge Capture - 15-16 April & 19 May 2010
Peer Collaboration & Communities - 14-15 October & 12 November 2010

* Knowledge Mapping, Knowledge Organisation and Knowledge Strategy to help you map your knowledge assets and gaps, organise your knowledge for optimal use, and align your KM strategy with your business strategy. Review detailed brochure.

KM Strategy and Frameworks - 20-21 May 2010
Knowledge Mapping & Taxonomy Development - 24-25 June & 28 July 2010
