Patrick Lambe

One of Asia’s most respected knowledge management practitioners, Patrick was originally trained in Library Science. He arrived in KM via a second career in training and development, and has been based in Singapore for 21 years. Patrick is the author of Organising Knowledge: Taxonomies, Knowledge and Organisation Effectiveness (Chandos 2007), an Adjunct Professor in KM at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Visiting Professor in the KIM PhD programme at Bangkok University, 2-term past President of the Information and Knowledge Management Society and a member of the editorial advisory board of the Journal of Knowledge Management, Knowledge Management For Development Journal, and Journal of Entrepreneurship, Management and Innovation. His 2011 paper on "The Unacknowledged Parentage of Knowledge Management" won a Highly Commended Award in the Emerald Literati Network Awards for Excellence 2012.

Edgar Tan

Edgar manages Straits Knowledge’s consulting and research projects. He began his career in human resource development before moving to KM a decade ago. He majored in Sociology and has a Master’s in Training and Performance Management. Edgar is the current President of the Information and Knowledge Management Society and Chair of the KM Excellence Awards.

Ng Wai Kong

Wai Kong project manages our client projects, manages our publications and ensures that the Straits Knowledge office runs smoothly. He is also a key figure in ensuring our knowledge audit process is accurate and effective. Wai Kong also provides administrative support to the Information and Knowledge Management Society and has helped organise the annual KM Singapore conference for iKMS.

Maish Nichani

Maish is a leading blogger, thinker and implementer in user experience design, information architecture and elearning design. He works with Straits Knowledge on technology selection, usability design, information architecture and intranet design, and user needs analysis. Visit Maish's website here.
